Just a reminder...2011 road race bids are due on Monday, November 1st.  Due to the large number of requests already received, any received after that date will not be considered.

2010 Mountain Bike Nationals

The SECCC had another strong year at Mountain Bike Nationals, with the top 4 podium finishers in the team omniums finishing in the exact same order as they did in 2009.  Brevard repeated as D2 National Champion in the team omnium, followed closely by Union (2nd) and Warren Wilson (3rd).  In the D1 category, Lees McRae again took home 3rd place.  Winning individual National Championships were Alexis Decosimo (Brevard, D2 STXC), Ben Hulse (Lees McRae, D1 4X), Erica Zaveta (Lees McRae, D1 XC), Tristan Cowie (Brevard, D2 Ind Omnium), and Rachel Millsop (Union, D2 Ind Omnium).

Mars Hill Flyer

The Sunday flyer for the Mars Hill cyclocross race is now posted in the "Calendar" section of the site.

SECCC Rulebook

The newest version of the SECCC Rulebook is now posted on the "Rulebooks" page.  Changes were made to reflect the decisions made at the mountain bike conference meeting this past weekend, such as raising prices for mountain bike and cyclocross races to $14 (with the extra $1 going back to the conference to purchase race equipment/supplies) and the requirement that promoters have an EMT on-site for subsequent races.

Cyclocross Flyers

The flyers are now up on the "Calendar" page for the Clemson, King College, and the Saturday Mars Hil cyclocross races.

Nationals Allocations

Nationals allocations are below.  The two team slots went to Lees McRae in Division 1 and Union College in Division 2.  They can take up to 6 riders in each race.  The rest of the slots were allocated based on the points that were accumulated during the year.  One other note is that the call-ups for the SECCC as conference champions are the italized riders at the top of each list.
If you would, please send me a note at nhaslick@usacycling by Wednesday evening on the 6th if you are not going to use your slot, so that it can be re-allocated to another deserving SECCC rider.  As always, feel free to send me an e-mail if you have any questions to the aforementioned e-mail.

Points - Season Totals

Points are now posted for the entire mountain bike season in the "Points" section of the site.  Congrats to all of our season winners in the team omnium:
