SECCC BMX?

With the first Collegiate BMX Nationals held this past spring, there has been some interest in having an SECCC BMX season.  Does anyone have any interest in hosting an event over the February/March time period?  If so, please send an e-mail to the conference director.

Updated Rulebook

The SECCC rulebook has been updated with the rules put into place at the Road Conference Meeting.  The major changes are moving pre-registration up to Thursday night, a change to the number of races during the road season (and subsequent number of events that qualify for points), and the dropping of the SECCC race fees.

2012 Road Nationals

The SECCC had another great showing at Road Nationals, held over this past weekend in Utah. In D1, the conference had four teams place (Lees McRae: 6th, Florida: 18th, Florida State: 28th, and Clemson: 44th). In D2, the SECCC occupied 3 of the 5 podium spots with Mars Hill (2nd), Cumberland (4th), and King (5th). Emory (16th), Brevard (18th), College of Charleston (26th), and Union (27th) also placed well. The conference also had one individual National Champion, and that was Ryan Sullivan (Cumberland) in the D2 Individual Omnium. Congrats to all that competed!
